“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” Henry Ford.
Curriculum developers in any Educational organisation often collaborate to shed light on the purpose behind the Attainment targets and to take feedback. In this regard, a collaborative coordination meeting was held by the Head Office department for English, Math and Science Subject leads namely Miss Ayesha Adnan and Miss Fauzia Mansoor, Miss Zeenia Tahir and Miss Shagufta, Miss Minaal and Miss Omaimah. The Curriculum Managers namely Miss Syeda Minaal Ali, Miss Uzma Waqas and Sir Abubakr Siddique briefed our attendees about the Scheme of work aligned with SNC along with an insight to learners agency. The provision of autonomy to students and its fruitful outcomes were discussed in all 3 subjects. Giving choice boards and exercising stamina activities where students can gauge their learning stamina was the prominent topic for discussion. Our Subject leads shared their practices where they were applauded for their contemporary strategies fulfilling today’s requirements. This coordination meeting provided a platform to our Subject Leads to show case their experiences and also get familiar with other practices as well. It was indeed a fruitful session and we wish to see these strategies implemented in our classrooms.
