Cluster Convener’s Visit to Beaconhouse PWD Primary and Middle

The Beaconhouse PWD Primary and Middle Branch had the honour of welcoming our esteemed Cluster Convener, Nighat Javed, for a special visit that reflected the spirit of excellence, innovation, and sustainability embedded within the school community.

   

Accompanied by the School Head, Saima Faheem, Ms. Nighat toured the campus and explored the vibrant displays that showcased students’ creativity, learning journeys, and achievements. She appreciated the thoughtfully curated learning environment and the overall ambience of the school, which reflects a strong culture of engagement, purpose, and student-centered learning.

During the visit, Ms. Nighat Javed highly appreciated the school’s ongoing initiatives, particularly the Monthly Spotlight on Excellence, which celebrates student achievements and encourages continuous growth. She also commended the school’s sustainability and eco-friendly projects, recognizing the efforts made to instill environmental consciousness among students.

The teachers’ EBA accounts were also acknowledged, highlighting the staff’s commitment to reflective practice, professional development, and continuous improvement.

A key highlight of the visit was the presentation by the Eco Officer, Abdullah Ali of Grade 7C, who confidently presented his innovative Steampunk Project. He shared the inspiration, design process, and purpose behind his work, demonstrating creativity and critical thinking. He also discussed his ongoing community project in Korang Town, focusing on waste management and promoting environmental responsibility. His passion, leadership, and commitment towards sustainability were highly appreciated by the Cluster Convener, who praised his efforts as a true example of student leadership and action.

            

The visit concluded with a detailed and meaningful discussion between Ms. Nighat Javed and Ms. Saima Faheem, focusing on the school’s academic programmes, implementation strategies, and future goals. The interaction provided valuable encouragement and reaffirmed the school’s dedication to nurturing responsible, confident, and environmentally conscious learners.
