Kashmir Solidarity Day is revered in Pakistan on 5th February every year in order to recognize and support the freedom struggle of all Kashmiris. The students of Beaconhouse PWD Primary and Middle Branch did not lag behind. An exclusive Morning Assembly on Kashmir Day was held in our Middle Section on Friday, 4th February, 2022.
The observance was initiated with the recitation of a few verses of the Holy Quran, followed by the translation. Students paid tribute to the Kashmiri people through Kashmiri songs, speeches and poetry. Kashmir Solidarity Week included many other activities. The students shared their motivational videos to show the culture of Kashmir by getting dressed in Kashmiri traditional attire. The students of BPPM enthralled the audience, when they expressed their solidarity with the people of Kashmir through March past. They chanted slogans for the Freedom of Kashmir. It focuses on showing Pakistan’s support and unity with Kashmiris. Students held banners and posters in favour of their Kashmiri brethren. Posters made by the students were displayed on the ‘Solidarity Wall’ to show their love and support for Pakistan and Kashmir. Students and parents were also invited on the Padlet wall as well to share their thoughts.
