Sometimes I think of blogging as finger exercises for a violinist; sometimes I think of it as mulching a garden. It is incredibly useful and helpful to my “real” writing.
Blogging gives students the opportunity to speak their unique voices. Students can practice their communication, writing and conversation skills when they comment on others’ postings or reply to others’ feedback on their blogs.
That’s why we love the idea of blogging in an educational setting. Creating a place for students to reach out to one another, and connect with people from across the world is a great way for students to develop their socialization skills.
One of the benefits of having a blog team is strengthening home-school relationships. It’s never too soon in the school year to start involving communities.
We believe that BPPM Community can stay connected through blogging!
BPPM formed a small group of students as a Blog Team, who will dedicate some time to learning and enhancing their writing skills through blogging.
Students were dragged into a challenge that is made up of a series of monthly goals, all designed to improve blogging and commenting skills while connecting students with a global audience.
Today HMI Ms. Saima Faheem addressed the BPPM Blog Team and inquired about their agenda reading their upcoming plans. She wished them “Good Luck” and boosted their morale.
The meeting concluded with some instructions and tips for writing blogs provided by Social Media Coordinator Ms. Beanish Ali.
Fingers crossed to see happy Blogging in the future by our Team!
