Are women an important component of society? Yes women are mostly unsung heroes of society. They make up the society and build a beautiful community but never acknowledge just because of gender. In this injustice some figures came out to show the world the power of women.they became inspiration for many. One of these heroes is surgeon Lieutenant General Nigar Johar.
She was born in a well of Pathan army family. Patriotism for her country came into her from her father. She has been interested in the army since her childhood . She graduated from army medical college and post graduated from armed forces medical institute . She became a surgeon ,had to face many obstacles in her path but became a major general and head of the army hospital. She was the third woman to advance to this high ranking . Some time later, seeing her excellent performance on this rank she was promoted to Lieutenant General . She is the first till date woman to reach here . She received Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Fatima Jinnah gold medal, and is also decorated with Hilal-e-imtiaz.
She is a true inspiration for women not only in Pakistan but the whole world and shows the true power against discrimination on gender. Her life is an example for every single women.
