“Every teacher needs to improve, not because they are not good enough, but because they can be even better.” ~ Dylan William
The more professional teachers get, the more likely students are to succeed. Whether it is a workshop, a conference, or a meeting, It’s important for teachers to take part in some form of professional development to set themselves up for success.
Education is a never-ending process. It doesn’t stop after earning a degree and starting a career. Through continuing education, career-minded individuals can constantly improve their skills and become more proficient at their jobs.
Professional development allows teachers to refurbish their skills and also convert their learning into useful attributes for students in the classroom. A three days training on Mentoring in Action was held which was attended by Miss Zeenia Tahir and Miss Kanwal. Our Instructional Coach Miss Nayab Rizvi was also invited as an observer for the entire training. They participated enthusiastically and were familiarised with the importance of Mentor and Mentee in professional lives. These trainings help the attendees to get aware of the required skills and then cascade to the rest of the teachers through different practices. We wish to see more teachers getting enrolled in this learning cycle
