In order to create a culture of trust and engagement, Empower students to lead their own lives and make a difference with others, Provide students tools to better achieve goals and Develop student voice, “Leader in Me” program has been introduced and incorporated in BSS.
Leader in Me helps students learn how to become self-reliant, take initiative, plan ahead, set and track goals, do their homework, prioritize their time, manage their emotions, be considerate of others, express their viewpoint persuasively, resolve conflicts, find creative solutions, value differences, and live a balanced life. The process helps students develop the skills and self-confidence they need to lead their lives and succeed in school and beyond.
A morning assembly program was conducted by the dauntless 5th Graders keeping these attributes of 7 Habits of Effective People in mind to sharpen higher-level thinking, oral communication, self-management, and leadership skills of the students.
The brilliant stars of grade 5A performed confidently with full zest and zeal which boosted their self-esteem, and responsibility.
