Celebrating Strength and Inspiration: International Women’s Day at BPPM

International Women’s Day was celebrated at BPPM with great enthusiasm and respect through a special morning assembly that brought together students and teachers from the Primary and Middle School. The event aimed to recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of women while inspiring students to appreciate the role women play in shaping families, communities, and the world.

The assembly was confidently hosted by Saifan Khan from Grade 7C, who served as the announcer for the entire programme. The event began with a beautiful mauve-themed setup.

One of the most engaging moments of the event was when Primary School students dressed up as famous and inspiring women. Through their costumes and presentations, they highlighted the achievements and courage of strong female personalities who have made a difference in history and society. Their participation reflected creativity, awareness, and admiration for women who lead with strength and determination.

Adding a thoughtful dimension to the program, the boys of Grade 7C presented a powerful mime performance. Their act delivered a meaningful message about the importance of respecting and valuing women. The silent performance spoke volumes and left the audience reflecting on the vital role women play in our lives.

The celebration continued with the Primary School Choir presenting a beautiful song dedicated to women. Their melodious voices filled the assembly with warmth and appreciation. This was followed by a creative tableau performance by Primary School students, portraying the strength and contributions of women in society.

In a heartfelt gesture, students presented handmade cards to all the teachers, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the dedication, care, and guidance provided by the women who educate and inspire them every day.

The event was further enriched by a musical performance by Ms. Kiran Tahseen, joined by Eesha Zaki and Tahreem Fatima, whose song added joy and celebration to the occasion.

Towards the conclusion of the assembly, Ms. Saima Faheem, the School Head, delivered an inspiring speech. She acknowledged the commitment, strength, and invaluable contributions of the female staff members and emphasized the importance of empowering women and appreciating their role in every sphere of life.

The celebration concluded with a group photograph, capturing the smiles and pride of everyone who participated in this meaningful event.

The International Women’s Day celebration at BPPM served as a reminder that recognizing and respecting women is essential in building a compassionate and progressive society. Through creativity, performances, and heartfelt appreciation, students learned that every woman deserves recognition for her strength, dedication, and impact on the world.
