BPPM PWD Primary and Middle Branch held its Annual Sports and Cultural Celebrations’ Event on Tuesday 15th March for Primary school students. The “#BPPMSports Skida2022” was scheduled in the field of BPPM which was celebrated with great zeal and fervour.
The Arena decor was already constructed to serve the purposes like award distribution, cultural function, Announcers seating arrangements and medals’ tables including victory stand etc.
Students were instructed to be present in the school premises on time along with their healthy lunch boxes and water bottles. All the students dressed up in their P.E uniform were the real shine of the day. #BPPMSportsSkida began with the magnificent March past. All the house mothers along with the house captain and vice captain were leading their houses holding the flags. The oath taking ceremony was followed by the opening of the sports ceremony declared by HMI Ms. Saima Faheem. Students from all the primary sections participated enthusiastically in this event. Cultural performances representing provinces of Pakistan were admired by all. Children presented spectacular Cultural tabeleaus, aerobics and a breathtaking display of gymnastics. Several colourful races like Spider Race, Hula Hoop Race,Chatti Race, Frog Race, Dress up and Ring Race etc were on the list of scheduled competition. The beautiful Aerobics performance and cultural tableaus were the highlights of the day.
Thereafter the final result and names of awardees were announced. Ms. Saima Faheem HMI awarded the winners and participants with the medals. Honourable judges were also awarded with the certificates for their untiring efforts during the day to make this event a success!
After award distribution, the honourable HMI Ms. Saima Faheem delivered a short speech towards students explaining the significance of sports in students’ life. Thus a joyful day came to an end and everyone returned with a heart full of memories.
It was a well-organized event and the athletes showed impressive performance. Well done team BPPM!!!
