Middle School Students Shine in “Makers and Bakers” Student-Led Initiative

Creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration came alive at BSS PWD Middle School during the recent  Makers and Bakers  event, entirely conceptualized and executed by our talented Middle School students. This student-led initiative provided a unique platform for learners to not only showcase their creative skills but also develop real-world entrepreneurial experience. The students began the journey by preparing a detailed event plan, which was reviewed and approved by the school administration. From baking delicious treats and crafting crochet items to preparing donuts, coffee, biryani, and candy delights, each stall reflected the students’ creativity and dedication. What made the event even more engaging was the entrepreneurial aspect — students marketed their products, handled sales, and interacted with visitors, learning valuable business and communication skills in the process. The event was not only fun-filled but also provided hands-on experience in leadership, collaboration, and decision-making.

The  Makers and Makers initiative is a shining example of how student-led projects can foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and real-world learning, leaving a lasting impression on the school community and beyond.
