Kashmir Solidarity Day

To commemorate the Kashmir Day, a special morning assembly was organized today at BPPM to mark the day, where students performed cultural music and stage plays.

Beaconites along with their respective teachers gathered in the ground to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir today. Attired in traditional Kashmiri embroidered outfits and accessories, holding Kashmiri flags, they livened up the atmosphere with their performances. A singing choir and tableau also brought forth the colours of Kashmir. 

The most confident, passionate and articulate announcers Hamza Zahid from 7B and Hareem Inayat from 7A captivated the attention of the audience. 

Speaking on the occasion, Waniya, Faryal, Asad and Humayl, said that “Pakistan will continue to support the cause of Kashmir. As We have been celebrating Kashmir Day at national level since 1990 and are continuously trying to highlight the Kashmir issue to the international community.” They also highlighted valuable thoughts to the day. Young speakers also talked about the culture and emphasized on its value as an important tool which can effectively focus on the contribution of Kashmiris.

A moment of silence was also observed to pay homage to the valiant struggle of Kashmiris. A thought provoking heart touching role play also remained the highlight of the event. Performers mesmerized the audience with their enthralling performance. 

BPPM Students and staff have commemorated their solidarity and support with the Kashmiris with full zeal and unmatched patriotism as they participated in songs ,speeches and poetry expressing their undying solidarity and spirit with the Kashmiris.

At the end the HMI appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers . The event concluded with the national anthem.
