Global Dignity Day was celebrated in BSSN on Wednesday, 20th October, 2021 with full zeal
and devotion. Dignity means we all matter equally and celebrating Global Dignity day was a
wonderful opportunity to educate and inspire the students about the importance of human
dignity. Through education and initiatives we can empower students to recognize their own
inherent dignity and respect the equal worth of all others. Only then can we build culture of
dignity in our schools, communities, workplaces and ultimately societies that are more just,
open and peaceful.
Students of BSSN engaged in inspiring dignity related activities. They pledged to the cause in a huge morning assembly in which role-plays and speeches related to Global Dignity Day were presented. Other than the assembly, many classroom activities were also held to inculcate the true essence of the word dignity into the minds of the children of today for a better tomorrow.
Students also prepared handmade cards. An essay writing competition was also held.
Students asked the teachers to write one remark about dignity day along with their signature.
The junior staff’s role was appreciated and Students did various activities with junior staff. The
entire event was thought-provoking and it ended with a promise in heart to respect ourselves
and everyone around in the world.
