Get Ready For School

The school bells are soon going to ring loud and clear. The four walls of the campus will shortly be replenished with the pleasant voices and pretty faces of our beautiful children. The summer vacations are nearly coming to an end.
While the first day of a new session after a long pause is quite enticing, it can be overwhelming for the children too. Getting up early in the morning, setting up a pattern to adjust to the school hours, and getting social again may seem daunting.
But as always, we got your back. Here are a few tips that can be worthwhile for students and help them to adjust to the routine fast and efficiently without distressing themselves.

Tip # 1: Plan Everything Ahead of Time

Planning is very important. It keeps you organized and focused. Be productive. Don’t waste even a second of your time. Make sure to balance homework, physical activities, and family time as you plan your day. Be your own master. Plan things out the way they work for you and stick to it.

Tip # 2: Keep the Gadgets Away

Open your Google Classroom. Note down the tasks assigned to you on a piece of paper. Do the required research work on the assignments, if any, and that’s it. Turn off your computers and mobile phones and start working.
Restrain from using electronic devices while working. Studies have shown that it takes a worker about 25 minutes to get back to work after being interrupted.

Tip # 3: Do not skip your breakfast

The majority of the students skip breakfast before coming to school, which negatively influences their overall performance. It is one of the very reasons students feel tired and lethargic during the day. Breakfast fuels the body. It boosts and stimulates energy levels, which allows the students to concentrate and participate actively inside and outside the class.

Tip # 4: Sleep well
Children need approximately 8 – 10 hours of sleep. It heightens their creativity and productivity. A study shows that students who sleep well at night are much more inventive and resourceful in class than those who don’t. Lack of sleep also affects the children psychologically. Children with a proper sleep cycle tend to be calm, composed, and collected, as opposed to those deprived of it.
Avoid using electronic devices before sleeping. Turn them off at least an hour before going to bed. Screen light keeps the mind active, which results in sleep deprivation during the night and eventually poor performance during the day.

Conclusion
Schools may seem hard sometimes, but they are not. Following a proper schedule, eating and sleeping well, focusing on your goals, and standing in the face of interruptions will surely sort things out. After all, the more you learn, the more you grow.

P.S we are very delighted and eager to welcome you back. Happy Schooling!
