The sparkle of fire is the witness of Your Worth, the silent flounce of the water is the witness of Your Softness. The rising of the sun in the east and the sunset in the west is the witness of Your Rhythm, the rhythmical movement of the moon is the witness of Your Perfection. My words, my soul is the witness of the Oneness of Allah whose glorification cannot be described in words.

On 10th December, 2021, students geared up exuberantly as this was the day that they were about to show case their talent to their friends, families and the local community.
Bright shiny faces were visible to see. The level of excitement was at its peak. Before the first visitor could enter the school gate, all the students quickly positioned on their stations and peeked in anticipation.

The visitors were warmly welcomed by Maaz Ahmad Siddiqui and Arham Fida and guided to the seats placed according to the safety guidelines in front of the stage where unique and wonderful presentations by the Primary students were about to be performed.

The visitors could breathe in the toasted scent of the popcorn. They could smell the mouthwatering aroma of the sweet and savory soup. The odor of the baked crust and the melted cheese on the pizza and grilled burgers, and the delightful trail of oyster sauce, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, and a little bit of ginger coming from the chow Mein were perceptible in the air.

Soon, the ground was filled with visitors and the stage performances began with the name of Allah, The Almighty. The event managers, Zara and Abubakr carried out the task of stage anchoring efficiently.

The first performance was from the students of Grade 3, who had prepared an educational performance about the Ancient World under the guidance of Ms. Nabila where they shared their knowledge about some important ages, historical civilizations, sites, people, and events.
The Stone age dance performance went down a treat, all of the children excelled in the spotlight and the audience didn’t have a moment to stop applauding. The rhythmic movements of the sleeves and fans combined with Chinese music and colorful lyrical dresses were delightful to the eye of the beholder. And lastly, the powerful vocal riffs by the students significantly aligned with the strength and greatness shown by the Ancient Egyptian civilizations.

Next came the much-needed presentation about Emotional Intelligence prepared by the students of Grade 3 Red under the supervision of Ms. Kulsoom.
The audience was inspired to witness such young students showing their level of maturity by presenting the significance of using good judgment, understanding cause and effect, association of one’s current actions with the results later, and other thought processes that go along with reasonable and acceptable behavior.

It was such a beautiful day as ten young dancers from Grade 3 Blue grouped center stage, arms reaching high, fingers spread, heads tilting back. The students’ lively dispositions, their excitement burst through the stage into the most vibrant picture of beautiful souls. The onlookers’ feet were shuffling along with the rest of them, tapping out the beat on the cement floor. Surely Ms. Rehma had outdone herself.

The Dance performance perfectly set the stage for the musical when Cinderella came rushing to the stage as she had to get everything ready for her mean step sisters. The students acted so realistically that the audience couldn’t stop sympathizing with poor Cinderella who wasn’t allowed to go to the royal ball.

The audience was brought back to the real world when the students of 4 Green came on the stage to address the grave issue of pollution through their role play which they had prepared under the guidance of Ms. Shehla and Ms. Shaista. The audience were deeply engaged as they listened attentively to the students and were mesmerized by their confidence.

Next came the students of Grade 5 Blue with Ms. Sundas in the lead. The students spoke about the significance of Cyber safety. Through their role play, they acknowledged the benefits and opportunities offered by the online world, while stating the risks associated with internet and how to avoid potential harms.

In the end, the audience was engrossed by the blast of colour on the stage as the students of Grade 5 red with their colorful props and costumes presented their graceful cultural dance. Their performance caught the attention of everyone as they told the story of each province through the movements and sequence of their dance. Ms. Noor couldn’t be more proud.
