The only person who can save you is you. From identifying your problem to providing yourself with a suitable solution is a journey of self awareness. Breast cancer- ACE talk session\u00a0 was organised on 21st October, by members of Medical union to raise consciousness amongst students and interpret the prevailing stigma around breast cancer. The purpose of the session was not only to familiarise about the topic but also to raise understanding around this medical condition.<\/p>\n

A steady increase in this disease has been reported especially in developing countries like Pakistan due to growth deficit factors, high population rate and especially cancer linked lifestyle-westernized dietary habits-smoking etc. The session started with small presentations prepared by students with the help of their Biology teacher. They were focused on the symptoms, risks and possible cures available till date. Followed by the presentations was a question answer session where students and other faculty members voiced their opinions and concerns around breast cancer.<\/p>\n

Sessions like these help students to become more knowledgeable about their surroundings and ultimately provide them with forums where they can candidly voice their concerns. Breaking the silence about breast cancer- if you feel an unusual change around your breast-examine- reach out and stay confident- its only you who can help you.<\/p>\n
