When these emotions are out of balance, it can have a negative impact on our physical health.<\/p>\n<p>Stress can take up abode in our heart and brain, affecting not just our physical but mental well-being often experienced in form of headaches, fatigue, and trouble sleeping.<\/p>\n<p>Grief often finds its place in our lungs, making it difficult to breathe when we&#8217;re overwhelmed by loss. It can also cause chest pain, shortness of breath, and a lump in the throat.<\/p>\n<p>Worry is likely to inhabit in our stomach, causing that familiar sensation of butterflies in stressful situations. It can also lead to nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.<\/p>\n<p>Anger can make itself relatively comfortable in the liver. It can cause inflammation, liver damage, and even cirrhosis.<\/p>\n<p>It is essential to understand the connection between our emotions and our organs so that we may take better care of our overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>A few healthy and effective ways to express and manage our emotions include talking to a friend or therapist, writing in a journal, or engaging in physical activity can all help. So, next time you&#8217;re feeling stressed, grieving, worried, or angry, take a moment to pause and acknowledge your emotions.
