It is one step ahead to just feeling good commonly known as \u201c<strong><em>positive affect<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.\u00a0Feeling good is a great start to happiness.\u00a0True happiness is a deep\u00a0<strong><em>glow<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0that comes from within.<\/p>\n<p>BEING happy has positive impacts on the brain. In fact, it rewires the brain to make it easier to attain its full potential.\u00a0 So, as an individual, what can you do to be happy? How can you train your brain to create all of these positive outcomes? Although feeling good is not the desired endpoint, it\u2019s a great way to start! Few simple techniques that can change your brain and put you on the path to being a happy person are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write down things you are grateful for each day<\/li>\n<li>Take out 2 minutes and write about a positive experience you had over the past 24 hours<\/li>\n<li>Exercise for 10 minutes a day<\/li>\n<li>Meditate for 2 minutes and focus on your breath as you inhale and exhale<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doing these activities without fail for three weeks will literally change how you see the world.\u00a0 You\u2019ll be more familiar to the positive in your life.\u00a0 You\u2019ll be able to control the rant in your mind that draws attention away from the present and focuses it on the past or the future and you\u2019ll strengthen your ability to see the world in terms of those whom you serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happiness is the bliss you feel when you\u2019re aware that you are becoming your best self.
