Chatter over self-care and the importance of having a self care routine is a result of this difficult time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelf-care is something we deliberately do \u2014 or in some instances, refrain from doing \u2014 with our own well-being in mind. It includes anything that promotes physical, emotional, psychological or even spiritual well-being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some easy ways for a quick self-care remedy may include:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Walk in nature<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Sleep in on the weekend<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Watch the clouds<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Unplug from social media<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Colour in, draw, or paint<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Listen to music<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Spend quality time with loved ones<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Call a friend that makes you laugh<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Start a gratitude journal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Write a bucket list<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Switch off your smartphone for 24 hours<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Write a list of compliments to yourself<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"sqsrte-small\">Declutter your social media<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Past two years have been very difficult for most of us.
