Self-compassionate people can identify when they are suffering and are kind to themselves at these times, thereby lowering their own levels of related anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">A few tips to give your self-compassion a quick boost are as follow:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><strong>Comfort your body<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/em>All the activities that improve how you feel physically give you a dose of self compassion. It can be as simple as to eat healthy, take some rest or take a walk<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><strong>Write a letter to yourself<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0A great way to nurture your feelings is to dump your thoughts on a piece of paper. Write about the situation BUT without blaming anyone &#8212; including you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><strong>Give yourself encouragement:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Think of what you would suggest to a friend who is in that situation.
