This was the moment the Grade 10 and 9 Matric<\/b> cohorts pulled out all the stops to give a legendary send-off to the departing Grade 11 and 10 Matric<\/b> classes. Walking into the venue, you wouldn\u2019t have recognized the people you\u2019ve shared hallways with for years. The transition from stained lab coats and “I stayed up all night studying” eyebags to sharp silhouettes and elegant drapes was nothing short of cinematic. For a few hours, the looming stress of boards and CAIEs evaporated, replaced by the glow of fairy lights and the realization that everyone actually cleans up quite nicely when there isn’t a surprise quiz involved.<\/p>\n

For those of us staying behind, this was a tribute to the leaders of the pack\u2014the ones who taught us how to navigate the canteen rush and how to make the BSS uniform look actually cool. We watched the seniors take the stage one last time, not as students, but as the young adults they\u2019ve become. The awards weren’t just titles; they were inside jokes turned into trophies, and the speeches were the “thank yous” we usually forget to say between classes (mostly because we\u2019re usually running late).<\/p>\n
