There was a range of styles and themes covering everything from dreams, life, to even homework.\u00a0 You could hear a pin drop as students recited their chosen poems, making the audience laugh, smile, and think carefully about the messages conveyed.<\/p>\n<p>The contestants would be the first to admit that it is not easy to stand and deliver in front of their peers, yet the experience is an invaluable one, characterized by risk-taking and confidence building.
