In the course of Library week celebrations at BSS Bahria Enclave Campus, Urdu debate Competition was organized among the students.
Speaking clearly and persuasively in front of an audience is an art form and a talent that develops with practice and instruction. Inter-school Urdu debate competition was held at Beaconhouse Bahria Enclave Campus, on 15th November 2022. The debate competition was held to enhance students’ Urdu communication skills, which involved speaking and non-verbal skills.
Students from grade 1 to AS level participated in the competition, they spoke on various topics ranging from important social issues to personal development issues, to create awareness. A number of important personalities were invited as judges for the competition, who evaluated the students’ skills, rewarding them later with awards. Parents of the participants were also invited, to showcase the skills of their rising children.
Students had a wonderful opportunity to practice speaking and writing in their mother language, Urdu, while also polishing their talents to persuade others via participation in the Urdu Debate Competition. In addition to bringing the people of a country closer together and giving them a feeling of shared identity, the national language also serves as a marker that distinguishes that nation from others.
All the participating students were honored with certificates for their remarkable participation in the Urdu Debate Competition.
