With August comes the ever exciting ‘back to school’ slogans and adverts all across  town and thus the children revert back to their monotonous routine of taking lessons, studying and facing the ever dreaded class work (for them). For students the nightmare begins as they have to now, once again, study and keep their heads in the books.

Keeping in mind the children’s concerns teachers of Beaconhouse School System – Bahria Enclave Campus, at each level, ensure that students’ learning process is exciting, fun and interesting to ensure that along with learning they can also have the factor of enjoyment in their lessons.

In Grade 4, students learnt all about autobiographies by filling out worksheets titled ‘All About Me’ sprinkled with questions regarding their hobbies, likes, dislikes etc. It’s safe to say the students had a wonderful time decorating the worksheets with attractive colours and their adorable pictures, which were then displayed in class.

Grade 6 students learnt about plant and animal cells by observing them in detail under a microscope. Students were fascinated by the things they could see with this instrument which would normally be invisible to the human eye.

Students of Grade 2 learnt about the concept of place value as used in mathematics and though it may seem simple to the reader the faculty made an excellent strategy of teaching the mentioned topic by creating jigsaws and puzzles that the students had an exciting time completing all the while learning the taught concepts.

Rest assured, Beaconhouse School System ensures that their students have fun while learning, so come onboard with us and let’s have an exciting learning journey.

After completing my LLB degree I became an English language teacher in Beaconhouse School System. I’ve always had a passion for writing. Back in my school days I took part in many essay competitions. I adore the idea of having a quite work space and write extensive essays and blogs to share my thoughts with the world. I’ve also written articles for the Herald Tribune newspaper. I hope you do enjoy my blogs and that you’ll keep reading them. :)
