The International Kangaroo Linguistics Competition (IKLC) is an International quiz competition that is held annually worldwide. Millions of students from all over the world take part in it and so did the bright enterprising students of Beaconhouse School Bahria Enclave campus.
Learning a language is hard and requires a lot of mental exercises. It is a fact that wherever you go, command over the language prevalent in the land, makes it easier to communicate with the people. Kangaroo contests have made it easy for us to understand the basics and implementing them helps us to get accustomed with the different cultures and enables us to assimilate with the new surroundings with ease. Good communication skills are crucial for us to tackle all the obstacles that life throws at us with full confidence and an appreciation for the spoken language.
English is the language of science, aviation, computers, diplomacy and tourism. Last but not the least, it is the language of international communication. Whether it is for professional or personal reasons, understanding the importance of English will help you reach your goals and excel in all that you strive for.
For now, I think I have mentioned the importance of the Kangaroo test in helping you learn languages because this unseen paper focuses more on creativity rather than typical learning. Knowledge and learning in itself is the greatest reward add to that excellence and hard work and that makes the deal even sweeter. IKLC provides you with the opportunity to compete nationally and internationally with some of the best student writers in the world and I am confident that our BSS students can and will compete and flourish finding their place amongst the best and the brightest.
