On February 24, the Beaconhouse School System campus at Bahria Enclave organized an informative orientation session for Grade 8 students and their parents. The primary objective of the session was to provide clarity regarding the upcoming Bifurcation Exams and to explain the significant role these assessments play in shaping students’ academic and professional journeys.

The Bifurcation Exams serve as an important milestone, helping students and parents understand individual strengths, learning styles, and academic standing. Based on the outcomes, families are better able to decide which academic stream — Matric or IGCSE — is most suitable for the student’s future aspirations.

The orientation was presided over by the IGCSE and Matric teaching faculty, who provided detailed insights into both streams. The advantages, challenges, academic structure, assessment patterns, and long-term career implications of each pathway were thoroughly discussed. Emphasis was placed on making an informed and thoughtful decision aligned with the student’s abilities and goals.

An interactive Q&A session followed, led by the teaching staff along with the Head Mistress, Sumaira Imran, and the Honorable Principal, Nighat Javed. Parents were encouraged to share their queries and concerns, which were addressed with clarity and reassurance.

The session proved to be highly beneficial, equipping families with the knowledge and confidence needed to make well-informed academic decisions for a successful future.
