We must always be prepared for the possibility of a serious emergency. Everyone should know what to do in an emergency, whether caused by natural catastrophes like floods, fires, earthquakes, or human actions. Teachers have a unique chance and responsibility to disseminate and put into practice their knowledge of disaster preparation procedures, and this crucial information applies equally to youngsters. In areas of the nation where natural catastrophes are more regular, disseminating these procedures and actionable knowledge is particularly crucial so that children may take life-saving steps even when their parents are not there. BEI performs many activities to educate kids on how to be ready for and act in the face of many crises, including emergency drills and educational lectures.

Since the world has already experienced a disastrous and saddening event that took away almost 30,000 lives. BEI has instructed its students and teachers to take all the precautionary measures in light of the situation. Aftershocks are common after an earthquake. However, quakes may strike at any moment. Children may get frightened when they see broad destruction caused by these natural catastrophes, including the potential for objects to fall and buildings to tremble. During an earthquake drill, parents must ensure the following measures told to their children.

  • Students MUST immediately take shelter under a desk or table, away from any windows.
  • Make sure kids know to protect their necks in case of an emergency by covering them with their hands.
  • Wearing a coat may assist in shielding you from flying glass shards and other tiny objects that might cause more damage.
  • DO NOT create chaos at any given time, and immediately evacuate the building under their teachers’ instructions.
  • Elder students MUST give way to the younger ones.

Teachers are instructed to lead them through a few school drills that focus on teaching them to complete each step quickly and efficiently. The main priority is to evacuate the building, and go to a clear space – the assembly point or the ground to protect themselves.
