BGCR resonated with linguistic brilliance as Urdu Week unfolded, showcasing a kaleidoscope of activities.

The youngest minds in Class 1 wove enchanting tales, each child narrating their chosen topics with captivating storytelling finesse.

Class 2 took the stage with imaginative roleplays, bringing to life the characters of “Asad ka Pencilbox” and “Bimaar ka Haal,” leaving the audience in awe of their dramatic prowess.

 

Meanwhile, Class 3 demonstrated eloquence and confidence in their speech deliveries on diverse topics.

Class 4 reverberated with the timeless verses of Allama Iqbal, as young poets recited his inspirational poetry, creating an atmosphere steeped in literary reverence.

The intensity heightened in Class 5 during the Speech Competition, where students passionately explored themes like “Yeh aakhri sadi hai kitabon se ishq ki” and “Apni qaumi zuban per fakhar kejiay.”

Class 6 engaged in thought-provoking discussions on societal progress, presenting speeches on “Mulk ki taraqi main Khawateen ka Kirdar” and “Mulk ki taraqi main Nujawanon ka Kirdar.”

Grade 7 students penned patriotic essays on topics such as “Watan ki Matti Gawa Rehna” and “Hum wo nahi jin ko zamana bana gaya, Hum sey hai zamana, Zamanay sey Hum nahi!”

Lastly, Class 8 tackled contemporary issues with fervour in the debate competition, deliberating on the impact of modern technology and the perpetual debate of degrees versus skills. Urdu Week at BGCR emerged as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing linguistic and intellectual prowess.
