BSS Gulshan Campus, Rawalpindi, celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and dedication to environmental stewardship. The day began with a special assembly where students and staff gathered to emphasize the importance of energy conservation, starting with a symbolic one-minute lights-off moment.
Following the assembly, each class participated in planting saplings on the school grounds, symbolizing their commitment to nurturing and protecting the environment. Led by Head of School, Mrs Samira Agha, and School Coordinator, Mrs Amna Shafaat, the students actively engaged in this act of kindness towards a greener and cleaner Pakistan.
The highlight of the day was the tree planting ceremony, where the Head of School planted a tree alongside the teachers, reinforcing the school’s dedication to environmental conservation. Additionally, students pasted their messages for Earth Day, showcasing their commitment to environmental awareness.
