At BGCR, Defence Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it’s a solemn occasion to pay heartfelt tribute to the heroic sacrifices made by the valiant sons of our revered homeland. This year’s commemorative assembly skillfully blended various elements to create a profound homage to the valiant martyrs of the 1965 war.
                                                               
The Primary level students of BGCR were the shining stars of the event. With unwavering enthusiasm, they passionately presented role plays that vividly depicted the dedication of our soldiers, and their melodious renditions of national songs serenaded the audience, instilling a sense of patriotism that resonated throughout the hall.
The tableau performance, an artistic masterpiece, left a lasting visual impact, recounting the heroic saga of Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed. The stirring speeches, with their compelling narrative, forged a deep emotional bond with the pupils, drawing them closer to the sacrifices made.
