In a culinary club, children come together to learn new recipes, practice existing recipes, share their favourite meals, discuss cooking tips, and enjoy the activity of cooking together.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
The purpose of the Culinary Club is to\u00a0provide an environment for students to, socialize, be creative, learn cooking skills, and have fun.<\/div>\n
Cooking with students\u00a0educates and empowers students to make nourishing food choices through hands-on learning. Cooking is a life skill and supports math, science, language, social emotional development, physical development (fine motor skills) and cognitive development. S<\/span><\/span>tudents of grade 1 and 2 learned table manners, set their tables and prepared a healthy plate keeping the 3 food traffic lights in their minds.<\/div>\n
