Students shared their opinions and suggestions on how they may help make the world equitable. Multiple activities were planned for the classroom to actively involve the children. Students were invited to write letters outlining achievements that have inspired them. These creative endeavours not only displayed the students’ writing abilities but also emphasised the significance of honouring and remembering the successes of women in a broad range of professions.

Everyone felt inspired and empowered at the end of the day. With a deeper understanding of the challenges encountered by women, the students departed with a refereshed dedication to promoting equal opportunity for all. The event acted as a springboard for further discussions and projects within the school to encourage diversity and provide every student the tools they need to realise their greatest potential.

“I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I always knew the woman I wanted to be.”

– Diane Von Furstenberg

“Feminism isn’t about making women strong.
