The halls of Beaconhouse I-9 Campus came alive as we welcomed the alumna Ms. Palwasha Faizan, now a Director at Habib Bank Limited and a proud member of the Beaconhouse Old Student Society.
Sharing her journey from school to corporate leadership, Palwasha reminded students that professionalism begins early. “I dressed for the job I wanted before I had it,” she reflected, emphasizing discipline and strong work ethic. She demystified banking by explaining how even an ATM card involves teams in logistics, marketing, technology, compliance, and operations revealing the vast career pathways within one institution.
Students listened with keen interest and asked thoughtful, pertinent questions about career growth, workplace challenges, and balancing ambition with personal life making the session highly interactive.
Speaking candidly about balancing leadership and family life, she encouraged students to see success as a marathon, not a sprint. She highlighted the value of resilience, adaptability, and building a strong support system.
