Beaconhouse always appreciates the vital role of parents in academic activities. Curriculum Orientation is one of the important sessions in the academic year where parents are taken on board as key stakeholders.
The teachers of Early Years till Grade 1-2 of the Beaconhouse I-8 Branch and I-9 campus executed the orientation to encapsulate parents’ roles including observation, resource provision, and good communication between parents and teachers.
Academic excellence, quality training, interactive teaching, and other tools to enhance students’ character building were the main components of this curriculum orientation session. In Curriculum orientation, parents were given clarity on our objectives which are to provide quality education of an international standard. Parents were explained the need for their regular input and feedback on their child’s academic performance.
Lesson management, timetables, mode of assessment, school communication mechanism, child protection policy, and other important administrative information were shared with the parents. The session was highly interactive and ended up with the Q&A session which made the meeting even more collaborative and helpful.
