Excitement, anticipation, and a spirit of healthy competition filled the air as our school recently hosted the Student Council Elections 2025. From the very first step to the final announcement, the journey was nothing short of thrilling—an experience that brought out the best in our young leaders.
From Résumés to Nominations
The process began with students submitting their résumés, showcasing not only their academic achievements but also their leadership qualities, co-curricular contributions, and vision for the school community. Each application reflected passion and commitment, making it a challenge to shortlist nominations. The Nomination Phase
Those selected moved on to the nomination phase, where the excitement truly began. Classmates cheered on their friends, posters appeared across hallways, and the atmosphere buzzed with energy. Being nominated was itself an honour—a recognition of potential leadership.
Facing the Interviews
Next came the interviews, where candidates faced the panel with confidence and determination. Their ideas on teamwork, responsibility, and service spoke volumes about the maturity and creativity of our students. Every response showed how deeply they cared about their school and peers.
Campaigns in Full Swing
The campaign period was perhaps the most vibrant stage of the elections. Colourful posters, inspiring speeches, catchy slogans, and persuasive promises echoed through classrooms and corridors. The candidates left no stone unturned in reaching out to their fellow students, sharing their vision, and winning hearts.
Election Day Excitement
Finally came the much-awaited Election Day. Ballot boxes were placed, students 3-4 lined up with enthusiasm, and 5-8 casted e-votes. The thrill of casting a vote filled the campus with an air of responsibility and pride. It was democracy in its truest spirit, where every student’s voice mattered.
The Grand Announcement
After a suspenseful wait, the results were announced. Cheers, applause, and celebrations followed as the newly elected council stepped forward with humility and determination. For those who were not elected, the journey itself was a triumph—a chance to discover their strengths, build confidence, and inspire others.
More Than Just Elections
The Student Council Elections were more than a competition; they were a celebration of leadership, teamwork, and community spirit. They reminded us that every step—from résumé writing to campaigning—was an opportunity for growth.
To our newly elected council members: congratulations! May you serve with integrity, passion, and dedication. And to every participant: thank you for making this election season so happening, memorable, and inspiring.
