Urdu Week was celebrated in Beaconhouse I9 Campus as the glorification of our national language while enhancing the linguistic skills of our students from Grade I-V. Language is a road map of a culture which plays a great role in building generations. In this week, the importance of Urdu language was highlighted and students were encouraged to share their thoughts in Urdu through different interactive sessions.

Students from different levels participated in multiple activities like poetry sessions (بیت بازی), story telling (قصہ گوی) and Urdu handwriting activity (خوشخطی), which was culminated in the celebration of Iqbal Day.

These activities were designed in groups as well as at individual level to ensure maximum participation.

We believe that Urdu as a language should be developed at every stage among students as it is important to revive its essence time and again through different interesting activities. The way students contributed in Urdu week activities through language interpretation was admirable.
