A learning festival was held at BSS I-8/I-9 Campus, an open day that showcased the school’s culture of creativity and imagination beyond textbooks and tests on 26th February 2022. To give an insight to the parents and the wider audience, different activities were exhibited by the students and the school staff. Different genres were showcased that including a Puppet show, storytelling sessions, and karaoke. Model lesson exhibits provided the audience the insight into the teaching methodologies adopted by teachers within classrooms for interactive learning.
Child Protection sessions were arranged to let the audience know how BSS is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all students and to ensuring that they are protected from harm.
The campus was open to students, parents, and visitors for lively activities and displays across its premises.
Puppet show:
The festival kicked off with a puppet show based on the story of ‘The Gingerbread man ’. It was flabbergasting, the puppets had come to life and were hypnotizing everyone. As the show went on, more and more people gathered around.
Gymnastics displays
The gymnastics displays added to the festive spirit leaving the audience enthralled.
STEM projects
The Exhibition of STEM projects by the students captivated the onlookers.
Club culmination-The Ballyhoo Hour
The kidspeneurs brought the samples of their small businesses for marketing. On the other hand, Web bloggers were marketing their blogs to the audience. The students demonstrated all the skills they acquired during the club lessons.
Story Telling Session:
Storytelling sessions grabbed the students’ attention and they enjoyed the sessions the most.
Karaoke:
Students sang along melodiously on the tunes of music, leaving the audience spellbound.
Model lessons:
An insight into teaching and learning through a variety of interactive strategies.
Gaming Zone:
A zone of excitement and pleasure for all the participants.
