“6th September is not just a date, it is the day when the entire nation stood united as one army.”
On 6th September 2025, Beacon house School System I-9 Campus held a special Defence Day Assembly in the school gymnasium to honor the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. The event was marked with patriotic enthusiasm as students and teachers came together to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of the nation.
Pakistan Defence Day reminds us that freedom is never free—it is earned with the blood of martyrs.
The assembly began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the soulful singing of the National Anthem, echoing through the gymnasium and filling the atmosphere with patriotism.
Students from Grade 1 till 8 presented patriotic songs and poems, stirring the emotions of everyone present. Their performances reflected gratitude and pride for the sacrifices made by the defenders of Pakistan.
A highlight of the assembly was the segment on famous incidents of 6th September 1965, including the heroic defense of Lahore and the remarkable bravery of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed. These stories of valor reminded the audience of the unbreakable spirit with which Pakistan stood united against aggression.
Students also delivered heartfelt speeches and messages dedicated to the martyrs, thanking them for their selfless devotion. Their words carried a powerful reminder that the peace and freedom we enjoy today are the fruits of those great sacrifices. The assembly concluded with a collective tribute to our soldiers for the prosperity, unity, and security of Pakistan, as well as for the eternal peace of the martyrs.
As part of the celebrations, a poster-making activity and crafts making in Early Years was organized to give students an opportunity to express their love for the country through creativity and art. Armed with colors, paints, and chart papers, students poured their imaginations into creating powerful visuals and messages.
At Beaconhouse I-9 Campus, such events not only commemorate history but also instill in our young learners the values of courage, patriotism, and responsibility towards the nation.
Pakistan Defence Day was celebrated as a living lesson of pride and remembrance, ensuring that the sacrifices of our heroes will never be forgotten.
“6th September is not just a date—it is the spirit of Pakistan.”
