Iqbal Day Celebrations

The life and ideology of the finest philosopher, thinker and a revolutionary, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, was celebrated today in BSTRB with great fervour and enthusiasm. Special Assembly was conducted by Performing Arts Club to deliver eulogies in memory of the greatest mind and the leader of our nation. The students shared various poems by Shair-e-Mashriq” and stressed to lead the life by following the values presented by him.
SHM, Mrs. Mussarat Jehanzeb, emphasized the need to instill a revolutionary spirit in our new generation and highlighted the need to understand the message given by the poet. She advised the students to explore the world, broaden their horizon, and reignite tremendous potential to achieve greatness- be the ‘Shaheen’ of Iqbal.
Our esteemed guests, Ms. Sana Nemat (associated with different TV channels, radio, PNCA, lokvirsa, producer and composer), Mr. Mazhar Shahzad Khan (a renowned poet, novelist and columnist), Mr. Muhammad Farhat Abbas (a poet, writer and scholar) strongly advocated the significance of following the ideals of Iqbal for being a strong, self-reliant person because it essentially involves belief and confidence in one’s abilities. With self-confidence and self-respect, there is nothing that we cannot achieve.
