Independence Day is a significant national holiday in many countries, including Pakistan and the United States, and is often celebrated with great enthusiasm. In BSTRK, Independence Day was celebrated with fervour and zeal. The notion was to not only educate students about their nation’s history but also provide an opportunity to instill a sense of patriotism, historical awareness, and national pride from a young age. Every child was dressed in green and white to emphasise the importance of that day. Students sang and performed patriotic songs that reflect the spirit of the nation. These performances help children connect emotionally with their country’s history and values. Children were engaged in various art and craft activities related to Independence Day, like flag-making activities. Students were given flags as a takeaway.
