In honor of Ramadan, TSC convened a special assembly centered on “acts of kindness.” Principal Ms. Nabila Khalid urged teachers and students to embrace volunteerism and self-grooming, emphasizing the virtues of compassion and empathy. She advised that as we move forward, we should carry the spirit of Ramadan with us. We should be more helpful to those around us, be it a classmate, a teacher, or someone on the street. To set an example, she introduced the teachers of Beaconhouse TSC who are willingly teaching children at Lighthouse orphanage, free of cost. It reflects their commitment to these students as they donate their valuable time and expertise to them. The teachers emphasized that a small act of kindness, a helping hand offered without expectation, can have a ripple effect, creating a more compassionate and supportive school environment, and ultimately, a better world. The assembly, resonating with character building, kindness, and virtues, underscored the transformative power of small gestures. Through fostering a culture of kindness, TSC aims to instill a sense of community and altruism, enriching lives during this sacred month.
