Beaconhouse School System, Tipu Sultan Campus (BSS TSC), consistently endeavors to provide its students with opportunities for learning, exposure, and skill display on international platforms.
On March 29, 2024, in Islamabad, the International Labour Organization (ILO) hosted the closing event of the Asia Regional Child Labour (ARC) Project, funded by the UK government. BSS TSC students actively participated in showcasing successful interventions and best practices developed during the three-year project period. The event lasted for three days, comprising two days of extensive rehearsal on short notice and performance on the third day. Under the guidance of Ms. Anila Shah, a member of Pakistan National Television and active member of multiple organisations, our students got the opportunity to deliver brilliant performances, including a moving theatre piece and a poignant song, raising awareness about child labor at such an early age. Their contributions were praised by esteemed guests, earning recognition for the campus. This commitment to student representation reflects dedication of BSS TSC to holistic education and social responsibility, amplifying the voices of children affected by labor exploitation.
We are thankful to TSC and also Ms Anila Shah for presenting our students on such platforms where they learn, get exposure and show their skills and remain in the limelight.
