Minds on fire: City wide debate extravaganza

In the bustling landscape of our city’s educational scene, on 28th March, 2024 one event at Tipu Sultan Campus stood out for its electrifying energy, rigorous intellect, and passionate discourse: the Debate Competition. The Twin Cities witnessed a clash of intellects as nine prominent schools, including Westminster International, The City School E -11 Campus, BSS Karakoram, and Roots Millennium School, gathered for the highly anticipated “TSC Declarena 2023-24”. This battle of words, showcased the prowess of young debaters and critical thinkers, aiming to provide a platform for expressing ideas and addressing contemporary issues.
Under the watchful eyes of esteemed judges, Ms. Saman Imtiaz, Mr. Mustafa Humayun and Mr. Asad Hanif the event kicked off with an exchange of logical verbatim and steamed logics. Participants engaged in spirited debates, presenting arguments, and offering rebuttals, displaying their analytical and communication skills.
As the dust settled, the winning team Westminster Academy, adorned with shields, basked in the glory of their victory. However, the event was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of intellectual exchange and collaboration. In the end, the judges were honored with bouquets.
