GLOBAL Dignity Day is celebrated to make everyone realise that each citizen living in this world has their rights and deserves respect. Dignity means the state or quality of being worthy of honour and respect, or human rights. Some examples of dignity are dignity of labour and dignity of education, etc.
The symbol of Global Dignity, the force behind the observance of this day, is two hearts attached to each other. It also symbolises that everyone is equal in this world and that everyone has equal rights.
Beaconhouse Tipu Sultan Senior School’s students celebrated the Global Dignity Day in its true spirits by acknowledging the dedicated efforts of all the staff at the school in the form of the activities like Mime,Dignity-Tree Acknowledgement Ceremony for the Junior Staff and a special session with Dr. Jamal Nasir (president medal of merit, president’s pride of performance award). He discussed the importance of dignity with the students and inspired them to be the exemplary models for the generations to come by returning back their society all the respect, care and love it needs to bloom.
