Beaconhouse Tipu Sultan Senior Campus proudly hosted Codeathon 2025, an exciting coding competition designed to inspire young minds while promoting Climate Action (SDG 13). This initiative introduced students from Classes 6, 7, and 8 to programming while emphasizing the role of technology in raising environmental awareness.
The event was conducted by Ms. Amina, with valuable support from Ms. Bushra in organizing the competition. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both for their dedication. Leading up to the event, students participated in interactive coding workshops using Scratch and App Lab. These platforms provided hands-on experience in creating animations, interactive stories, and apps centered on climate change. Students developed logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while crafting digital solutions for environmental issues.
On competition day, students showcased remarkable ingenuity, presenting projects ranging from animated stories about climate change to interactive applications promoting sustainability. Their teamwork and passion for coding turned ideas into impactful digital solutions, proving that technology can drive change. Judges were impressed by their originality and technical skills.
