Our environment! What does it really mean? The surroundings of a dwelling?, but that’s just me defining it, what does our environment mean to us? Where every individual may have their own definition of the phrase, BMI-A’s Environment Society made sure that this was no longer a phase, but a passion that could be seen in every student on the 29th November at the Eco protection fair. Projects, essays, facts, this event was an amazing success with about 100 students being a part of it. It was evident that the blazing passion in the youth is all we require to transform our future. Raakin Ali Shah, GS and Umna Minahil, the VP of the environment society in a conversation remarked, “we have big plans ahead. We wish to change the future, to educate our youth about the dangers our surroundings might face but big plans require small steps and with this event being the initial step, we believe that it is possible to make those dreams about saving the environment finally come true.
With the efforts of the society members and ACE coordinators, the event played a significant role in creating awareness about environmental issues that threaten our existence.
