It has been rightfully said “It’s not about ideas; it’s about making ideas happen.”
It is that time of year again; the election fever has not yet passed with yet another year of electrifying campaigns at the school of BMI-B. Students are all eager and vying to be a part of the prestigious student council. Only a lucky few of the numerous students on campus are selected, a moment of complete and utter joy for any student.
Candidates are able to pursue their welfares regarding any subject further e.g. sports, literature, debating, media and assistance other students with parallel interests by setting up engaging co-curricular activities such as the sport festival and poetry week.
It is an integrity for any pupil to be a fragment of the student council and to commemorate this, BMI-B sets up an investiture ceremony which is of immense importance, as the entire event depicts the exquisiteness of success and victory. Moreover, as a chief guest, Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Hamza shafqat, was invited to celebrate the victory and joy of student council of BMI-B that took place on Friday with a distinctive sense of anticipation in the air.
The occasion was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and further starting up from the prevalent posts of Head boy (Shayan Munir) and deputy head boy (Hazik Mustafa), to the presidents, vice presidents, advisors, dignity ambassadors etc. everyone was called up to the stage to receive their sashes or armbands and formally accept their posts. It was a time of accomplishment and pride as everyone took an oath to assist the school whole fully and to ensure to stand unite for the furtherance of BMI-B.
