Heads high, eyes shining with joy and pride, faces lit up as the students of BMIG Council 2022-23 walked gracefully towards their destination. October the 5th, 2022 was marked by the auspicious event of the Investiture Ceremony held in BMI Campus.

Every year, the elected Council receives their sashes and takes the Oath of allegiance towards this superior responsibility. After going through a rigorous process of nomination and whole school elections, students are honoured with their respective ranks in the Investiture Ceremony.

Mr. Irfan Nawaz DC Islamabad was invited as the Chief guest. He congratulated all the students and encouraged them to continue with their endeavours. The Regional Director North Mr. Khawaja Haider Latif, Principal BMI Ms. Ayesha Ansar, Headmistress BMIG Ms. Rakhshanda Asad and heads of other branches of BMI were also among the esteemed Guests.

The air was filled with cheers as the students proudly wore their sashes. A melodious song was sung by the school choir that enchanted the audience. The backdrop of the stage was embellished with white, peach and tea-pink balloons and flowers that further enhanced the environment.

Becoming a part of the Student Council not only prepares the council members to become responsible individuals but also grooms their social, communication and managerial skills. It instils within them the BSS Learner’s profile attributes amongst them and focuses on their holistic development. Through dedication, conviction and perseverance,  they lead their assigned roles and organise various events in school. These roles create a pathway towards success at different levels in their life.

“Lives of great men all remind us, we can make our lives sublime, and, departing, leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time.”
