Schools are not merely buildings for organizing lesson plans to teach children facts and figures; they are the building blocks for polishing skills that no other institution offers.
Beaconhouse takes huge pride in providing its students with the opportunity of polishing their skills. In honor of the students’ skill building, the school has been organizing fruitful debate competitions for all the kids to take part in.
The month of November kept all the students occupied with Urdu and English debate competitions for the middle school as well as high-school students.

English Debates for O’Levels
A highly organized event took place where the 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students took part in the competition. The competition was highly organized and wrapped up nicely in just one day.
The event was divided into 2 hours each, where the students got the opportunity to speak on the respective topics:

Grade 11
Is History for wisdom or academic only?
Grade 10
Is social media making us less social?
Grade 9
Does owning a pet make you responsible?

Urdu Debate Competition:

Urdu language might be the most boring thing a student has to learn, however, Urdu is HOME. For all of the national students, this might sound like a nightmare, but the way one is able to express himself in their native language- nothing else compares to it.
It is important to encourage students to take part in Urdu-related activities so they are able to understand the literary value of this beautiful language.
Urdu competition featured some beautiful topics and allows students from all grades to take part, as well as express themselves in the language.

All in all, BMI-G hosted a brilliant event and allowed the students to learn while having fun. It is important to inculcate this among students: Studying can be fun! In order to do so, the BMI-G management will continue to offer amazing events to the students and help them become the best version of themselves.
