The juxtaposition of winter results and the cats of BMI

The longest O Level’s of history, some would call it. Not only periodically but emotionally as well. The class of 2021 finally finished their O Level’s last week. Two months into the workload of college the weight of their final year results made itself known. With how the exams went for most people, 10:30am on the 26th seemed like an inevitable confiscation of PS4s and Netflix accounts.

As everyone gathered outside the boys and girls buildings, the cats couldn’t help but follow the crowd of sneakers. Curved tails and flashes of whiskers were spotted throughout the block. BMI is quite notorious for having one of the cutest settlements of cats on its grounds, from the gingers to the ravens, they are a part of BMI’s campus experience. This was reflected that afternoon. You could hear people screaming of joy one moment and the next you’d find them sat in a corner with a furry friend demanding pets.

Results are always stressful but result day here at BMI is one of a kind. So let’s maintain this tradition even if Cambridge springs up new exams on us. Try to be nice to the cats, their purrs will make your day. Share your food with them when you can, the canteen counter is too high for them and you never know, maybe making them happy will domino effect into getting that PS4 back.
