“Dignity is not a privilege; it is a right for every individual.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Global Dignity Day<\/strong>, our students engaged in a variety of creative activities<\/strong> that emphasized the importance of respect, kindness, and unity,<\/strong> all celebrated in their online classes due to school closures.<\/p>\n

In the Early Years<\/strong>, students traced and colored<\/strong> their hands<\/strong>, along with the hands of their family members,<\/strong> in a fun and interactive activity that not only helped them learn about the uniqueness<\/strong> of each individual but also developed a sense of belonging and love within their families.<\/p>\n

As they decorated their handprints<\/strong> with bright colors, they discussed how everyone is different yet special in their own way. Additionally, they engaged in a card-making activity,<\/strong> crafting beautiful cards with messages of kindness and appreciation.<\/strong> This combination of activities reinforced their understanding of dignity through artistic expression<\/strong> and highlighted the importance of expressing love and respect<\/strong> for others.<\/p>\n

We are proud of our little ones for spreading positivity and recognizing that dignity begins at home!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Lower Primary<\/strong>, students utilized digital whiteboards<\/strong> to create vibrant posters that expressed their understanding of dignity. Each student illustrated their ideas through drawings and words<\/strong>, showcasing themes of respect, kindness, and the inherent value of every individual. This engaging activity promoted collaboration as students shared their thoughts and worked together to enhance each other’s artwork. They reflected on the significance of dignity in their lives, discussing how simple acts of kindness can make a big difference in their communities<\/p>\n

In the Upper Primary<\/strong>, students participated in a thoughtful discussion about the meanings of dignity and respect. They then worked in pairs using Canva<\/strong> to design posters that showcased their shared values and teamwork,<\/strong> creatively incorporating symbols and messages that resonate with their understanding of dignity. Their efforts were a testament to their unity and creativity! Additionally, they designed a “Dignity Tree”<\/strong> using the Figma tool<\/strong>, symbolizing how dignity grows and flourishes<\/strong> through respect and kindness.<\/strong> This project encouraged them to think critically about how their actions can contribute to a more respectful and inclusive environment.<\/p>\n

They focused on Global Dignity Day (GDD)<\/strong>, students used Canva<\/strong> to create personalized pledges<\/strong>, reflecting their commitment to upholding dignity and respect in their communities.<\/p>\n

These activities collectively highlighted the significance<\/strong> of Global Dignity Day<\/strong> and demonstrated how our students, even in an online setting<\/strong>, could come together to celebrate dignity, respect, and collaboration.<\/strong> Through their creativity and teamwork, they learned valuable lessons<\/strong> that will help them promote a more inclusive and respectful world. Let us continue to inspire each other and uphold the values of dignity in our everyday lives!<\/p>\n
